Recently the Ringing Hill Fire Company received $148,270.01 in funding from the Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) through Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to enhance their response capabilities and to more effectively protect the health and safety of the public and emergency response personnel from fire and other related hazards.
The received funding was used to procure a total of 20- MSA G1 Self-contained breathing apparatus, 40 cylinders, and 31 face pieces. The acquired SCBA will replace the fleet of SCBA that has served our company and community well over the last 15+ years and will help our members better serve the community for the next 20+ years.
