About
Our Department:
Ringing
Hill Fire Company proudly
protects 12,000+ people living in an area of 7.9 square miles. We
operate out of one station that protects a primarily residential area.
Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer
status. Our fire company is located in Lower Pottsgrove Township, just
outside of Pottstown. This gives us a Pottstown address but we are not
part of the Pottstown Fire Department.

Parade
and Housing
|
|
On
May 2nd,
the members held a parade and housing
for two new pieces of apparatus. The
parade started at the firehouse and included many pieces of apparatus
from surrounding
fire companies.
It traveled
through our township and ended back at the firehouse. Officials
from Sanatoga, Upper Pottsgrove and
West End Fire Companies housed the new 2009 International/KME 3000
gallon
Pumper/Tanker and 2007 Ford/KME Fire Police Unit.
Master
of Ceremonies Ray Lopez presided while
honored guests included Senator John Rafferty, Representative Thomas
Quigley
and Township Commissioners Bruce Foltz and Jonathan Spadt. Plaques
were presented to the best appearing
trucks in various categories.
After
the
parade and housing, refreshments were served at the pavilion.
